Rocket Cronometro V Espresso Machine

Rocket Cronometro V does not disappoint with a heat exchanger, PID temperature for extremely precise and stable temperature and Rockets on the designed E61 group with "Dual" pre-infusion system. Rocket Cronometro V delivers as good espresso as commercial espresso machines.
More information
There are two different designs for Rocket Cronometro V. The Giotto Cronometro V has a distinctive design with angled side panels while the Mozzafiato Cronometro V has a more traditional side panels. Both have a discreet brewing timer located above the power button. The shot timer is activated as soon as the brewing is started.
Features and performance
Rocket has integrated all of its best extravagant design features such as height-adjustable legs, stylish and grippy knobs with Rocket's iconic "R" on the left knob for the steam function. The espresso machine also has Rocket's patented "No-Burn" steam stick which ensures that you can not burn yourself on it, which increases the espresso machine's user-friendliness. Since Cronometro V has a heat exchanger, you can both brew and use the steam function at the same time and with the integrated PID temperature control, the machine ensures a stable temperature. The PID control comes with four different programs that are adapted for four different types of roasting to give you the best coffee experience.
Temperature stability is one of the most important parameters for getting good results and Rocket's modernized E61 group will not disappoint you. Rocket's E61 group has a so-called "Dual" pre-infusion which has a static chamber and a mechanism with a compression spring and piston which together ensure that the coffee puck is completely saturated before the entire 9 bar brew pressure comes and thus provides an even and stable brewing. Together with Rocket's well-thought-out E61 group, PID checks that the machine maintains a stable temperature throughout the brewing process. Rocket is one of the first manufacturers to include PID temperature control in their espresso machines with heat exchangers. Which inspired many other manufacturers.
Internally, the Cronometro V has a 1.8-liter heating element with an output of 1200 watts with integrated minimum level sensors that remind you when it's time to fill the internal 2.5-liter fresh water tank. Should the tank not be refilled, the machine has the function of shutting down to protect the internal components from burning due to dry driving.
One of the reasons we love Rocket espresso machines is their accessories. They always include a complete training guide with a USB stick with extra content to help you get started with your espresso machine. Also that they include high quality all metal tampers which not many other manufacturers do.
Reasons why you should buy a Chronometro V
Rockets Mozzafiato Cronometro V and Giotto Cronometro V are beautiful machines that offer a professional level of coffee brewing at home that will last a lifetime provided it is taken care of. With a well-thought-out E61 group, PID temperature control and with a heat exchanger with a vibration pump, it can repeatedly deliver extremely precision safe espresso and at the same time be an efficient machine that allows you to brew and froth milk at the same time. An absolute dream machine for a home barista. If you have limited space, we can highly recommend Rocket Appartamento, which is Rocket's most compact espresso machine. If you are looking for an espresso machine that can be connected directly to a water source, we would recommend Rocket Cronometro R.

PID temperature control
Usually, espresso machines with heat exchangers require cooling the machine by rinsing through hot water after using the steam stick or before brewing if the machine has been on for a long period. By
integrating a PID regulated temperature control no longer requires flushing before use. The PID control has 4 different programs adapted for four different types of roasting to get the best out of the beans.

Rockets E61 brewing group
A traditional E61 group, hot water is constantly circulated between the heating unit and the brewing group for stable temperature. Rocket has developed a modern double pre-infusion group that has a mechanical function that ensures that the entire coffee puck is saturated with hot water before brewing to give the best result. .

Energy efficient heater
In the core of Rocket Cronometro V there is a 1.8 liter copper heating element with an output of 1200 watts. The material copper has a very good heat storage property and temperature stability, which results in an energy-efficient espresso machine. As the heating element has a good heat-setting property, it also heats the cup tray on top of the machine to get your cups warm before brewing.

Discreet shot timer
The Rocket Cronometro model series has included a digital brewing timer located above the power button. With a discreet gray background and light blue numbers, the timer is automatically started as soon as the brewing is started. The idea behind the discrete timer is to not distract from the beautiful design of the machine.
