BUYING GUIDE
Do you need help finding your right espresso machine? We will explain what the differences are between the different models we offer at Barista and Espresso.

5 IMPORTANT QUESTIONS
In order for you to know which espresso machine is best for you, you will need to think about 5 important questions.
CHOICE OF ESPRESSO MACHINE TYPE
The espresso machines can be divided into 2 different variants: Double boilers or heat exchangers. Take a look at the tabs below to read more about them.

START BY UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCES
We have made a short summary about the different types of espresso machines that are with us and understand which one suits you best!

ABOUT HEAT EXCHANGERS
Heat exchangers have a large boiler for both milk frothing and brewing. The upper part of the cooker is used for steam and the lower part for brewing. The advantage of a heat exchanger is that it is strong and capable of brewing several coffee drinks in a row and is suitable for those who like to drink latte and cappuccino.

ESPRESSO MACHINE WITH DOUBLE COOKER
The advantage of a double boiler is that you have better control over your brewing temperature thanks to the fact that you can change the temperature of each boiler separately. It gives you good opportunities to get more frequent espresso shots compared to a heat exchanger. Just like a heat exchanger, you can both foam and brew at the same time.
HAVE YOU LIMITED WITH SPACE?
Once you know which variant you need, it's time to ask how big an espresso machine you can have. Some have limited space and then this point is very important. Here we share our recommendations to you who have limited space.

RROFITEC PRO 300
Pro 300 is the most compact espresso machine with double boilers that we have with us. It is both affordable and very efficient. If you want an espresso machine with quality and performance, you can not go wrong with choosing an espresso machine from Profitec.

ROCKET APPARTMENT
The most classic and popular model of Rocket Espresso. It is one of the most compact espresso machines with a heat exchanger can be recommended to start! There are several different host varieties that you can choose from and it is an extremely user-friendly espresso machine.
DO YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO CONNECT DIRECTLY?
Are you perhaps tired of filling an internal water tank? Do you instead want to be able to directly connect your espresso machine so you no longer have to think about refilling ever again? Here we have the collection of all espresso machines with the option of direct connection.
COMBINE WITH A COFFEE GRINDER
A rule that all coffee enthusiasts follow is that the coffee is only as good as the grinder. Therefore, it is very important to combine a coffee grinder that is in the same league as your espresso machine.

CHOICE OF COFFEE GRINDER
Choosing a coffee grinder is more important than the espresso machine. In the end, it is the quality of the coffee and how evenly the coffee is ground to be able to get as good and even brewing as possible. Therefore, choosing a coffee grinder is one of the most essential and important aspects when it comes to starting to brew espresso at home. Read our complete buying guide!
FLOW-CONTROL
The longer you have been doing espresso brewing, the more likely you have come across the English term "Flow-control" or "Pressure profiling". This is the opportunity to be able to influence the flow and pressure profile during your espresso brewing. The reason why you want to be able to influence this is to bring out unique flavors that you would not get otherwise. Once you have control over these two parameters, you can customize your pressure profile to suit a specific rust profile such as dark rust, medium rust or light rust. Some espresso machines allow you to manually create different pressure profiles and the ability to save them. Rocket has espresso machines where there are already finished pressure profiles that are adapted to certain rust profiles.
MACHINES WITH FLOW-CONTROL

NOW IT IS POSSIBLE TO INSTALL FLOW-CONTROL
If you already own a Profitec with an E61 group or are interested in, you have the opportunity to buy a Flow-contol kit to be able to try experimenting with different pressure profiles without having to spend as much as an espresso machine with flow control.
Flow control compatible
These espresso machines from Profitec espresso are compatible for installing a Flow-control kit.
